2013 (So.): Played in all 11 games, ranking 10^th on the team in total tackles (34) … had 16 solo tackles … recorded four tackles for loss for a total of seven yards, including a two-yard sack … season-high six tackles came against Belhaven (Oct. 12), with five of those being solo.
 
2012 (Fr.): Played in nine games for the Rams, playing defense … recorded the 12^th most tackles (29) on the team … posted 12 solo stops … had 1.5 tackles for loss, for a total of 14 yards … posted season high six tackles on two occasions, against Georgetown (Sept. 1) and against UVa.-Wise (Oct. 6).
 
Northside High School: 2010 graduate for the Vikings, where he lettered three times … team recorded 12-2 mark in 2009 en route to Blue Ridge championship and AA Division III State title … named Offensive Line first team All-State as a senior … team went 6-6 during junior campaign, advancing to second round of playoffs … named Defensive Line first team All-District … also lettered two years each in track & field and basketball.
