Bluefield Battles Hard but Falls to the Knights of KCU 1-2

Game 1: Bluefield 5, Kentucky Christian 4
The Rams opened the series strong behind a big offensive day, putting up 5 runs on 10 hits.

Noah Burtner was credited for the win for the Rams, with help from Joe Gaither and Tyrone Woods

Game 2: Kentucky Christian 8, Bluefield 6
Despite a late rally with 4 runs in the 9th, the Rams came up just short.

Game 3: Kentucky Christian 4, Bluefield 2
In the rubber match, Bluefield struck first but couldn't hold the lead.

Bluefield moves to 17-19 overall as they gear up for the final stretch of the regular season. They will look ahead to Tuesday as they will play Alice Lloyd at home.
