Coach Maggie White's Thoughts
"It was a hard fought battle through both games today. I'm proud of our athletes and how they focused on the task at hand. They picked each other up throughout the day. Hallie had an incredible first game in the circle, and Ali put up a strong performance as well. Our defense made some difference-making plays to hold the lead, and our bats came alive when we needed them. We would like to thank Jaime Slemp, the Graham Rec Park field manager, and his crew for working so hard to make the fields playable today," said Coach Maggie White.
Bluefield's offense was balanced across both games, with contributions from multiple players. Harris led the way with a home run and five RBIs across the two contests, while Franklin's clutch extra-base hits provided key runs. Loflin and Dillow each contributed multiple runs, and the Rams' defense played sharp, turning a double play in Game 2 and committing just one error overall. Looking Ahead With this dominant sweep in the Battle of the Bluefields, the Rams build momentum as they continue their season. The Ram's will play again tomorrow in a conference match-up vs. Kentucky Christian University at 2pm and 4pm.
