Bluefield, WV – The Bluefield Men's Soccer match against Milligan was suspended at halftime due to severe weather conditions, with the Rams trailing 5-0. The game, initially marked as a challenging match-up, saw Milligan—ranked #1 in the preseason poll and currently sitting at 11th in the country.
The match began with high anticipation, but just 20 minutes in, lightning forced a delay. As the weather worsened, a tornado warning was issued, leading to further stoppages. Ultimately, the decision was made to suspend the game, with a rescheduled date and time yet to be determined.
Despite the challenging circumstances, the Rams will regroup and prepare for their upcoming match this Saturday against the University of Pikeville at 3 PM.
