Bluefield, VA – The Rams faced off against Johnson University in their fourth conference match of the season, entering the game with an impressive unbeaten record and a four-game winning streak. After dropping the first set, the team rallied to claim victory, winning the next three sets and defeating Johnson 3-1. With this win, Bluefield continues its unbeaten streak against Johnson, maintaining a perfect record in their seven matchups.

Both teams struggled to find their rhythm early on, with Johnson registering a hitting percentage of .051 and Bluefield not far ahead at .070. The lack of offensive momentum forced both squads to rely heavily on their defensive strategies. Bluefield's serving proved particularly challenging in the first set, as they committed six service errors. However, they quickly regrouped and showed significant improvement in the subsequent sets.

While they were out-blocked by Johnson 11-5, the Rams excelled in other areas, particularly in service aces, finishing the night with eight. This marked a significant turnaround from their earlier performance.
