KINGSPORT, Tenn. – It took extra innings for a winner to be determined between the Bluefield University Rams and the Reinhardt University Eagles in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament, Wednesday night at Hunter-Wright Stadium. In the bottom of the 12^th Reinhardt walked it off with a two-run home run for an 8-6 win. The Rams remain alive in the tournament and will face Bryan College at noon, Thursday in an elimination game.
INSIDE THE GAME

• Bluefield took the lead in the top of the second on a leadoff home run by Brady Joslyn
• Reinhardt took the lead with four runs in the third and one in the fifth to go up 5-1.
• The Rams whittled away at the Eagles lead with two runs in the sixth. One run crossed the plate on Nick Guerra's bases loaded single, and another on Bryce Medlock's sacrifice fly.
• BU retook the lead with three runs in the top of the seventh. Joslyn picked up an RBI single, Moises Aristy had a run-scoring double, and one more scored on a ground out by Sean Seale.
• RU evened the score at six in the bottom of the eighth. Neither team scored in the ninth and the game went into extra innings.
• Reinhardt drew a two-out walk in the bottom of the 10^th and the runner went from first to third on a wild pitch. Tyrone Woods sat the Eagles down with a strikeout and the game went to the 11^th.
• The Eagles walked it off on a two-run home run in the bottom of the 12^th inning.

LEADERS

• Graham Dalton, Johnny Medina, Joslyn, and Moises Aristy each had a pair of hits.
• Nick Duncan started on the mound for BU and pitched five innings with four strikeouts.
• Tyrone Woods worked the final three innings and struck out five.

• The Rams will face Bryan at noon, Thursday in an elimination game.
