WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Bluefield University men's volleyball wrapped up regular season play with a trio of matches over the weekend. Friday the Rams fell to St. Andrews 3-0 in an AAC match. Saturday BU dropped non-conference matches to Eastern Mennonite University 3-0 and Carolina University 3-1.
The Rams lost to St. Andrews, Friday night in Laurinburg, N.C., 20-25, 21-25, 17-25. 
Kyle Pietrzak had 19 kills and a pair of blocks. 
Mason Lloyd finished with 11 kills. 
General Smith tallied three blocks, and Benedit Somes dished out 31 assists.
Saturday. BU moved to Winston-Salem where they first battled and fell to Eastern Mennonite 23-25, 25-20, 18-25, 18-25. Pietrzak finished with 24 kills, 
Kemani Riley picked up three blocks, Somes handed out 34 assists, and 
Colby Mutter collected eight digs.
In the final match of the regular season the Rams dropped a match to Carolina 16-25, 24-26, 20-25. Pietrzak had 11 kills, Lloyd 10. Somes amassed 17 assists and 
Cesar Bitanga eight digs.
The Rams finished the year with a 9-13 overall record, 3-9 in the conference and begin Appalachian Athletic Conference tournament play on April 18 in Kingsport, Tenn.
