Bluefield University Rams Narrowly Defeated by Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs

Bluefield, VA.- In a riveting Appalachian Athletic Conference showdown, the Bluefield University Rams faced a narrow defeat against the Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs by a score of 58-56 at the Dome Gymnasium on December 10, 2024. Despite a valiant effort, the Rams fell short after a decisive three-pointer from Jaci Powell of Tennessee Wesleyan sealed the win for the Bulldogs in the closing seconds of the contest.

The game started competitively with Tennessee Wesleyan taking a slight edge by halftime, leading 27-22 over Bluefield University. Destiny Long, Elle Gunter, and Ahmiah Jordan were standout performers for the Rams, collectively scoring 40 of the team's total points.
