Rams Edged in Overtime by Truett-McConnell University

Cleveland, Ga.—The Rams faced off in a conference battle against Truett-McConnell University in Georgia over Thanksgiving break, resulting in a nail-biting overtime loss, 94-91. The game showcased intense back-and-forth action, with both teams leaving it all on the court.

Despite the defeat, the Rams had standout performances that highlighted the evening:

  • Quantavis McKinney, a dominant presence for the Rams, proved unstoppable for the Bears. McKinney delivered a stellar performance, scoring 36 points on 14-of-17 shooting, while also grabbing five rebounds and recording two steals.
  • Elijah White, the Rams' senior point guard, added 28 points and surpassed the 1,000-career-point milestone. White also contributed six assists and two steals in a strong all-around performance.

The Rams will have a quick turnaround, taking two days off before traveling to Kingsport, TN, for "The Show" Tournament. They will face Mobile on Friday at 3:45 PM, followed by Northwestern on Saturday at 12:30 PM.
