Milligan College, TN – The Rams traveled to Milligan University on Tuesday, looking to build on their earlier success against the Buffaloes, where they won decisively in straight sets. However, despite a strong effort, Bluefield was unable to replicate that performance, facing a tough battle on the road.
Liangelys Santana led the offense for the Rams with 10 kills, while Joslyn Evans and Cylie-Ann Wong contributed 5 and 3 kills. Nayerly Jimenez recorded 15 assists throughout the match.
Defensively, Georgia Lewis stood out with 11 digs, supported by Nayerly Jimenez and Eledy Torres, who added 7 and 6 digs.
With the loss, the Rams' record now sits at 14-10 overall and 9-5 in conference play. They will look to rebound this Saturday, October 26th, when they travel to Johnson University. The Rams previously defeated Johnson 3-1 at home and aim to replicate that success on the road.
