BLUEFIELD – The Bluefield University men's basketball team picked up an exciting 94-93 overtime win over Columbia International University, Wednesday night at the Dome Gymnasium. The win ended a five-game Bluefield losing streak. Six Bluefield players scored in double digits, including all five starters.
INSIDE THE GAME

• BU held a nine-point advantage midway through the first half, but CIU fought back and led 42-41 at halftime.
• Both teams shot over 50% from the field in the opening half – CIU 59%, BU 52%
• CIU had its largest lead midway through the second half at seven points.
• CIU led by four, 83-79 with less than a minute to play.
• Jaron Washington-Thomas' three-point play with 45 seconds left pulled the Rams to within a point at 83-82.
• Donavan Martin made one of two free throws to tie the game at 83 and send the game to overtime.
• The game had six lead changes and five ties.

LEADERS

• Christian Bullock topped the BU scoring column with 18 points.
• Quantavis McKinney tallied 17 points.
• Elijah White finished with 16 points and seven assists.
• Martin had 14 points and a team-high eight rebounds.
• Danny Alford scored 10 points.
• Washington-Thomas came off the bench to add 15 points.
