BLUEFIELD – Bluefield University is kicking off the new school year with a Welcome Back Bash, Friday, Aug. 18 at the Herb Sims Center.
Activities get started at 6:30 with live music provided by Pieces of One, a 70s and 80s rock-and-roll band. The main event, pro wrestling, begins at 7:30 with six matches presented by American Pro Wrestling. Wrestlers include BU graduate Crash Cassidy.
Ticketsd are $8 for students presenting a student ID,  Advance tickets may be purchased at Ramella & Associates Insurance at 2113 College Avenue, Bluefield, Virginia. Ringside tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. General Admission is $10 in advance and $12 at the door, and kids under 12 years of age can purchase advance tickets for $6 and at the door it will be $8.
