KINGSPORT, Tenn. – The 2022-23 season for the Bluefield University men's basketball team came to an end Wednesday as the Rams fell to the Columbia International University Rams 68-51 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament at the Meadow View Resort and Conference Center. BU finished the season with a 10-19 record.
INSIDE THE GAME

• Bluefield held an early six-point lead and trailed CIU 30-27 at halftime.
• CIU opened the second half on a 17-0 run to take command of the game.
• BU shot 29% from the field for the game.
• There were five fives and seven lead changes in the game, all coming in the first half.

LEADERS

• Elijah White, the AAC Freshman of the Year led Bluefield with 21 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
• Kaleb Hewitt came off the BU bench to score 10 points.
• Volante Carroll had a team-high seven rebounds.
