BLUEFIELD – The Bluefield University women's basketball team pushed its winning streak to four games with a 69-63 Appalachian Athletic Conference win over the Truett McConnell University Bears, Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at the Dome Gymnasium.
Following the game BU recognized seniors Leslie Flores and Brianna Poole, and fifth-year player Kylie Meadows.
INSIDE THE GAME

• The Rams claimed their first lead midway through the first quarter and the teams were tied at 13 at the end of the period.
• Both teams struggled from the field in the opening half and Truett McConnell led 27-21 at halftime.
• TMU pushed its lead to nine points early in the third quarter.
• BU reclaimed the lead 34-33 with five minutes to play in the third.
• The teams were tied at 40 headed into the fourth quarter.
• Bluefield pushed its lead to double digits early in the fourth, 55-43.

LEADERS

• Meadows led the Rams with 22 points, eight rebounds, two blocks, an assist and a steal.
• Jaydn Hoover popped in 15 points with five assists and two assists.
• Destiny Long had 14 points and seven rebounds.

• The Rams, 13-10 in the AAC and 13-13 overall, visit Brenau University, Tuesday in an AAC contest.
