BLUEFIELD – The Bryan College Lions roared past the Bluefield University Rams in Appalachian Athletic Conference women's basketball action, 82-59, Saturday afternoon at the Dome Gymnasium.
INSIDE THE GAME

• Bryan connected on seven three-point field goals and shot 61% from the field in the opening quarter and took a 30-12 lead after the first 10 minutes.
• The Rams battled back and played even in the second quarter and Bryan led 49-31 at the half.
• Midway through the third the Lions built a 30-point lead.
• Bluefield outscored Bryan in the fourth quarter.
• Bryan hit 15 three-point shots in the game.

LEADERS

• Destiny Long fired in 29 points and had five rebounds.
• Lina Pagan recorded a double-double with a team high 10 rebounds and she added 12 points along with four assists, a pair of steals, and a block.
