Men's basketball drops Truett McConnell

BLUEFIELD – Quantavis McKinney hit two free throws with seconds remaining to break a 73-73 tie and lead the Bluefield University Rams men's basketball team to a 75-73 Appalachian Athletic Conference win over Truett McConnell University, Saturday afternoon at the Dome Gymnasium.
INSIDE THE GAME
  • Bluefield led 43-37 at halftime.
  • The Rams shot 50% from he field and 46% from behind the three-point arc in the game.
LEADERS
  • Elijah White topped the Bluefield scoring column with 22 points. He added a pair of assists and a steal.
  • Donavon Martin dropped in 18 points.
  • McKinney finished with 12 points and two steals.
  • Danny Alford grabbed five rebounds.
