KINGSPORT, Tenn. – The 2023 season for the Bluefield University women's volleyball team came to an end Friday afternoon as the Rams fell to the Milligan University Buffaloes in the quarterfinals of the Appalachian Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament at the Meadowview Conference Center and Resort. The Buffaloes claimed a 3-0 win to advance to the semifinals, 25-11, 25-17, 25-15.
Georgia Lewis led BU with 19 digs. Liangelys Santana finished with 14 digs and eight kills, and Eledy Torres added 10 digs. Nayerly Jimenez ended with 16 assists.
The Rams finished the season with an 18-15 record.
