The Dome Gymnasium is a landmark on the Bluefield University campus. Built in 1968, the Dome is home to BU men's and women's basketball, men's and women's volleyball and BU Sports Medicine. Seating capacity is approximately 300. In December 2022 the court in the Dome was refinished with new BU logos and design. In recent years locker rooms have been renovated, lighting upgraded, and offices constructed for coaches and staff.
