BLUEFIELD – The Bluefield University men's soccer team pushed its winning streak to three with a 1-0 win over St. Andrews University, Wednesday night at the East River Soccer Complex.
INSIDE THE MATCH
- The teams battled at a fierce pace in the first half and went to the intermission in a scoreless tie.
- Drake Cullens scored the game's only goal in the 55th minute with an assist from Pedro Visacro.
- The teams continued to battle until the final horn and BU improved to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. The Rams are a perfect 4-0 at the East River Soccer Complex and have won three straight matches.
LEADERS
- Jake Mendoza had eight saves in goal.
- Cullens, the reigning AAC Offensive Player of the Week scored a goal.
- Visacro added an assist.

- The Rams visit Columbia International University on Saturday, Oct. 1.
