SYLVANIA, Ohio – Bluefield University women's volleyball dropped a 3-0 decision to host Lourdes University 14-25, 28-30, 26-28, Friday afternoon in the Gray Wolf Invitational.

• Lourdes controlled the opening set and took the 11-point win.
• The Rams and Gray Wolves battled in the second set with BU facing potential set points on several occasions before LU took the win.
• The third set was another battle. Bluefield faced set point opportunities, but Lourdes pulled through in the end.

COACH GALLEMORE SAID: "We started slow in the first set, made too many errors and got behind. We battled in the second, was down 24-22 and came back to tie at 24. Had three set points but couldn't finish. The third set was much like the second, played close all the way through but just couldn't finish."
