COACH ALVAREZ SAID...
"Today I felt that we played rather inconsistent throughout the two matches. This morning against Cumberland we played well at times and at other times we could not do anything right. We missed serves and untimely errors did not allow us to compete. We had a long talk with the guys and we asked them to do the little things during warmup and pregame that will allow us to better focus on the task at hand. I was very proud of them for doing exactly what was asked of them. During the Carolina match my concern was how much of a height advantage they had against us, but instead we spread the ball around well and had a balanced offense. I think that proved to be a big difference for us. Our focus now is rest and recover. We will be back in the classroom and practice as we haave another big week ahead of us."
