BLUEFIELD - The Bluefield University Rams women's basketball team pushed its winning streak to four games with an 87-79 Appalachian Athletic Conference win over the Montreat College Cavaliers, Saturday afternoon at the Dome Gymnasium. With the win the Rams improved to 6-6 overall and 6-5 in the AAC.
INSIDE THE GAME

• Montreat jumped to an 8-0 lead before Bluefield rallied and trailed 17-16 at the end of the first quarter.
• BU's first lead came on its opening possession of the second quarter and led 41-37 at the break.
• Bluefield led most of the third quarter before Montreat took the lead in the final two minutes. The teams were tied at 65 going into the fourth quarter.
• The Rams pushed their lead to double figures in the final two minutess.

LEADERS

• Kylie Meadows popped in 28 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
• Kiaa Boyd recorded a double-double with 11 points and a team-high 10 rebounds.
• Reigning AAC Player of the Week Jaydn Hoover dropped in 18 points and had four assists.
• Emily Breeding finished with 17 points and three assists.
• Monay Galloway had a team-high four assists.
