BLUEFIELD – Less than 12 hours after falling to the top team in the Appalachian Athletic Conference the Bluefield University women's volleyball team was back on the court at the Dome Gymnasium. The Rams got back on the winning track with a three-set AAC win over the Tennessee Wesleyan University Bulldogs, Saturday morning.
INSIDE THE MATCH

• The Rams and Bulldogs played close with early ties in the opening set until BU built a four-point lead at 14-16. The Rams took the opening set 25-19.
• TWU held an early lead but BU went on a 10-0 run to take a 12-3 lead. The Rams' lead grew as high as 10 points before Bluefield claimed the 25-15 win.
• Tennessee Wesleyan opened a 4-0 lead and led by as many as six at 14-8. The Rams clawed back and tied at 21 before taking a 25-22 win in the set to claim the match.

LEADERS

• Jessica Wells led BU with 10 kills and two blocks.
• Nayerly Jimenez had 13 digs with 14 assists.
• Georgia Lewis finished with 10 digs.
• Reese Turner collected 14 assists.

NEXT IN LINE

• The Rams improved to 10-3 in the AAC and 12-8 overall and will visit Union College for an AAC match, Tuesday.
