BLUEFIELD – Bluefield University women's soccer honored its seniors Saturday afternoon prior to the Rams contest with the Point University Skyhawks. Seven team members were honored prior to the game which the Rams lost 3-0.
Bella Cox, Emily Ledford, Stephanie Miller, Kaylei Newman, Carson Richardson, Amanda Scott, Hannah Thacker, and Brooklynn Whitaker were recognized and joined on the field by family and friends.
In the game Point took a 2-0 lead into halftime and added its final goal in the second half. The Rams concluded the season with an 0-16 record, 0-12 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
