Taylor tops Rams in tournament finale

    UPLAND, Ind. - Bluefield University women's volleyball wrapped up its two-day tournament trip to Indiana with a three-set loss to host Taylor University in the Amber McClure Fayerweather Memorial Tournament. The Trojans claimed the win 25-19, 25-18, 25-17.
    Kiersten Palmbos led BU with 18 assists, while Jessica Wells tallied 11 kills and a pair of blocks Leslie Flores completed the match with 11 digs.
    Kacy Bragg had 35 assists for Taylor and Amanda Adams had 18 kills.
The Rams play their home opener Tuesday against WVU Tech at the Dome Gymnasium. Match time is 6:30.
