Knight joust Rams in twinbill opener

LAURINBURG, N.C. - St. Andrews University took the opening game of Saturday's AAC doubleheader, downing the Rams 6-1.
The Knights took the early lead and the Rams knotted the game at 1-1 in the seventh inning. SAU then scored tso in the seventh and three in the eighth to take the win. 
Bluefield hitters managed only six singles in the game. Nate Cobb and Taylor Meaux each had two hits.
Steven Estep, in relief of Ben Coffman, was tagged with the loss. Estep pitched the final three innings and had three strikeouts. Coffman worked the first five frames, had one K and gave up one run.
