Point shuts out Rams 3-0

WEST POINT, Ga. - Softball opened AAC play Saturday and fell in the opening game of a doubleheader 3-0 to the Point University Skyhawks.
Coming into the game Bluefield College sported a three-game winning streak. The Skyhawks scored a single run in the first and two in the second to round out their scoring. Point's Allie Beilstein allowed only one BC hit, a single by Kristina Sanchez. Beilstein struck out 14 batters.
Lexi Harmon took the loss for the Rams. She pitched a complete game and struck out three.
