It's a wrap

MONTREAT, N.C. – The 2020-21 season for women's basketball came to a conclusion Saturday afternoon as the Rams fell in AAC Tournament action to the Montreat Cavaliers 69-45.
Montreat controlled the contest from the outset, scoring the game's first six points and leading 17-2 at the end of the first quarter. Bluefield College's only points were two free throws. The Cavaliers led 39-15 at the half. The Rams narrowed the margin in the third and trailed 49-33 when the fourth quarter began.
Tianna Crockett, in her final BC game, topped the scoring column with 13 points. Morgan Wylie added 12 and Kylie Meadows had 10 rebounds.
The Rams finished the season with a 6-13 record, 6-10 in conference play. In an unorthodox season due to the Coronavirus pandemic, BC had a total of 13 games canceled due to COVID protocols with the team, and opponents.
