KCU eliminates men's basketball in AAC Tournament

GRAYSON, Ky. – Men's basketball wrapped up the 2020-21 season with an 87-75 loss at Kentucky Christian in the AAC Tournament.
The Knights led throughout and took a 46-35 lead into the halftime break. KCU went ahead by 16 early in the second half before the Rams made a run at the 10-minute mark to get within 10 points. The Knights, however, charged back and built their biggest lead of the afternoon at 20 points and went on to take a 12-point win.
Jermiah Jenkins led Bluefield College with 30 points. Omega Stitt tallied 14 and Trent Dunn 10. Stanley Christian had a team-high seven rebounds.
The loss to KCU was the third time the Knights defeated the Rams this season.
The Rams lost five games to the COVID pandemic. The squad finished the season with a 7-15 record, 7-12 in conference play.
