Rams finish Toccoa Falls sweep

EMERSON, Ga. - Baseball completed its doubleheader sweep of Toccoa Falls College with a 6-5 win Friday, Feb. 12.
As in the opener Toccoa Falls drew first blood but the Rams overcame the 2-0 deficit with a four-run fifth inning. Bluefield's bats came alive in the game as five players collected multiple hits, led by Taylor Meaux who was 3-for-5. Nate Cobb, Ozzie Millet, Clay Wisner, and Eligha Lewis each collected a pair of hits, and Lewis drove in two runs.
Ben Coffman started on the mound for the Rams and worked three innings. He allowed four hits and struck out three. Tyler Lowrey worked a pair of innings and got the win, picking of four strikeouts along the way. Andrew Arguello earned the save as he pitched the final four innings and struck out five.
