Women's volleyball falls at AAC Tournament

KINGSPORT, Tenn. - The 2021 season came to an end for Bluefield University women's volleyball as the Rams fell to Brenau University in five sets, 19-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-22, 11-15 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament.
The Rams fell behind two sets to none, but battled back and won the third and fourth sets before coming up short in the fifth and final set. The Rams finished the season with a 20-12 record and fourth place regular season finish in the AAC.
AAC Player of the Year Leslie Flores, in her final BU game recorded 18 kills and 16 digs. AAC  First Team selection Lauren Sotomayor also tallied 18 kills. Adrianah Grajeda, rounding out her BU career, amassed 11 kills. AAC First Team selection Aubri Whatcott, taking the court for the Rams a final time, had 40 assists. Georgia Lewis collected 22 digs, and in her final Bluefield University match Kassidy Brown had 15 digs.
