Rams split in South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Bluefield University women's volleyball split a pair of weekend matches in Columbia, South Carolina. The Rams fell to Columbia International on Friday, and defeated Columbia College, Saturday.
In Friday's match the BU Rams dropped a five set match to the CIU Rams 14-25, 25-22, 16-25, 25-19, 7-15.
Aubri Whatcott led BU with 41 assists and Georgia Lewis had 22 digs. Lauren Sotomayor had 21 kills and Leslie Flores added 17. Adrianah Grajeda picked up six blocks.
Saturday morning the Rams got back on the winning track with a three set win at Columbia College 25-20, 25-16, 25-20.
Kiersten Palmbos paced the Rams with 23 assists. Carly Connor had three blocks, while Leslie Flores added 14 kills and Georgia Lewis seven digs.
