BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Mid-South Conference announced Appalachian Division Football Players of the Week, as released by conference officials Monday. MSC Appalachian Offensive Player of the Week

Nathan Herstich – Bluefield (Va.) – Fr. – QB – St. Cloud, Fla.

• Herstich completed 21-of-37 passes for 333 yards and six touchdowns in a victory against Warner (Fla.)
• He posted scoring throws of 20, 13, 28, 21, 29 and 25 yards
• Bluefield leads the nation in passing yards with 2,750 thru seven games
• Herstich earns MSC weekly honors for the first time in his career and first time this season

MSC Appalachian Defensive Player of the Week

DaMarcus Wimbush – Bluefield (Va.) – Sr. – LB – Danville, Va.

• Wimbush collected nine tackles and three interceptions in a win versus Warner (Fla.)
• He registered interceptions on consecutive drives in the third quarter and another in the final period
• The senior netted returns of 32, 27 and five yards
• Wimbush collects the fourth MSC weekly honor of his career and first this season

MSC Appalachian Special Teams Player of the Week

Joey Dales – Bluefield (Va.) – So. – K – Bluefield, Va.

• Dales booted three field goals, made all six extra-point attempts and recorded a pair of touchbacks in a victory against Warner (Fla.)
• He made field goals from 35, 30 and 33 yards
• The sophomore tallied 15 total points in the 51-36 win for the Rams
• This marks Dales' first career MSC weekly honor and first this season
