WAKESKA, Ga. – Women's volleyball battled one of the AAC's top squads Friday night, but came up short, dropping a four-set decision to the Reinhardt University Eagles in the first leg of the Rams' two-day Georgia swing.
Reinhardt took the first two sets, 25-18, 25-10 before BC caught fire in the third set. The Rams rolled to a 7-2 lead only to see the Eagles take a 20-19 lead. After a tie at 24 Bluefield scored the next two points to seal the set. Reinhardt rebounded and took the fourth set 25-16 to claim the match.
Jessica Walls led the Rams with 15 kills.
Leslie Flores had 10 kills with 13 digs.
Claire Fingerlin had a team-high 18 digs, while
Aubri Whatcott had 31 assists with 10 digs.
BC will conclude its Peach State trip Saturday morning with an 11 a.m. match at Point.
