BLUEFIELD - Women's basketball ended it's nine-game skid and gained its first win of calendar year 2020 with an impressive 77-67 AAC win over Tennessee Wesleyan, Saturday afternoon at the Dome Gymnasium.
Four Rams scored in double figures as BC took the lead in the opening quarter and trailed only once in the game. The Rams led 21-6 at the end of the first 10 minutes and 41-27 at halftime.
Kianna Campbell led all Bluefield scorers with 22 points.
Cierra Cook added 14 and
Tiyanna Scott and
Haley Turman each tossed in 10.
The Rams have battled during the losing streak, but fell short in those games. Saturday afternoon's contest seemed to bring all aspects of the game together for a Bluefield College victory.
