GLADE CREEK, W.Va. - Women's cross country ran for the fastest team total in school history and Paige Spade ran the second fastest race for the program at the Country Roads Cross Country Classic, a dual match between the Rams and WVU Tech.
The team ran a total time of 2:04.29. The previous record was held by the 2017 team and was 2:05.18. 
Spade ran the 5K race in 21:24. The record is held by McKenzie Marshall, a time of 21:07, set in 2017,
Spade's finish was good for sixth place. Kelcie mith was ninth (24:24), Madison Thompson 11th (25:27), Samantha Brown 12th (26:18), and Kay-Lin Hillard 13th (27:06).
WVU Tech won the meet 15-48.
