DEARBORN, Mich - Host University of Michigan-Dearborn came from behind to gain a five-set win over women's volleyball, Friday evening in the Early Bird Challenge, 13-25, 25-16, 25-21, 15-25, 12-15.
After dropping the first set the Rams stormed back to win the next two before the home team evened the match forcing a deciding fifth set.
Claire Fingerlin led Bluefield College with 31 assists in her second match . It was a good day for new Rams as Kassidy Holloway had 29 assists and Leslie Flores had 17 digs and 10 kills.
Bluefield wraps wraps up play in the two-day classic Saturday, Aug. 24 with matches against Point Park University (Pa.) and Mount Olivet Nazarene (Ohio).
