MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TENN. - Alex Perkins struck out 13 Milligan College Buffaloes to lead the Rams to a 7-4 win in game two of a Saturday's doubleheader and earn the Rams a split in the Appalachian Athletic Conference showdown. Milligan took the opener 12-2.
The 13 Ks is a career high at BC for Perkins. In the game for the Rams,
Andreas Holtzer had three hits while
Ozzie Millet,
Jose Santana and
Elianel Mejia had two hits apiece. Millet knocked in three runs, Mejia two.
In the opening game Millet rapped out three hits and
Lenyn Napoleon had a pair of hits including a home run.
The two teams conclude the series on Sunday, but the venue shifts to Johnson City for the final game. Friday's opening game, scheduled on the Milligan campus was rained out.
