BLUEFIELD - Spencer Ambrose worked five innings to get the pitching victory and the Rams took Tuesday morning's game from the Point Skyhawks 8-7 at Bowen Field to win a vital AAC series. Steven Estep pitched the final two innings to gain the save for the Rams.

Marcus Espinal,
Edgardo Bernardo and
Andy Pena each collected a pair of hits and Pena knocked in two runs.
Ozzie Millet drove in three runs with a hit for BC. In the win.
The Rams win comes after BC took game two of the series Monday night 4-3 in eight innings.. In that game Matthew Larson raced home with the game-wining run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the eighth inning. Larson was a courtesy runner for catcher
Joseph Cardona. Cardona had a pair of hits in the game as did
Lenyn Napoleon and
Jose Santana.
Alex Perkins was the winning pitcher as he worked all eight innings for the Rams.
In the series' opening game Point took a 7-3 win.
The Rams face Bluefield State on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Bowen Field in the Baseball Battle of the Bluefields.
