Baseball drops decision to King

BLUEFIELD - Baseball dropped a non-conference game to NCAA opponent King University 5-2, Wednesday afternoon at Bowen Field.
A three-run second inning by the Tornado spelled doom for the Rams.
Steven Estep pitched a strong eight innings for Bluefield as he scattered six hits and struck out four. Lenyn Napoleon was 3-for-4 at the plate with a pair of doubles. Andreas Holtzer and Marcus Espinal each had a pair of hits.
The Rams welcome NAIA ranked Point University to Bowen Field for an AAC series this weekend, starting with a single game Saturday night, followed by a Sunday afternoon doubleheader..
