Softball splits with Point

WEST POINT, Ga. - Meredith Throckmorton powered a two-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to propel softball to a 2-0 win over Point in the opening game of aan AAC doubleheader Saturday afternoon.
Throckmorton was 2-for-4 in the first game as was Lexi Harmon, who also picked up the complete game pitching victory for Bluefield in game one.
In the second game the Rams fell to the Skyhawks 9-1. Riley O'Neal was 2-for-3 at the plate.
