LAURINBURG, N.C. - Softball gained an AAC split with St. Andrews, Wednesday afternoon. The Rams scored three in the top of the seventh to break a 2-2 tie and claim a 5-2 win in game one, while in game two, SAU scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to gain a 2-1 win.
In the opener
Lexi Harmon tossed a four hitter and struck out three batter. Additionally she was 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and knocked in a pair of runs.
In the second game Harmon also pitched the complete game and struck out six batters.
The Rams open their home season Thursday night at Graham Rec Park, hosting Alderson-Broaddus University.
