WALESKA, Ga. - After being rained out Friday, the Rams took to the field Saturday afternoon and in the top of the 10th inning pushed a run across the plate to beat Reinhardt University 4-3 in AAC baseball action.
In the extra frame Edgardo Bernard doubled, moved to third on a Carlos Torres single and scampered home on Joe Cardona's sacrifice fly with the go-ahead run. Justin Coleman then sat down the Eagles 1-2-3 in the bottom of the 10th, two via strikeout, to give Bluefield the win.
Bernard, Jose Santana, Jordan Huntley, and Andreas Holtzer each collected a pair of hits for BC. Huntley homered for the fifth time this season.
Weather permitting the two teams look to wrap up the series with a doubleheader Sunday afternoon.
