TOCCOA FALLS, Ga. - Baseball pushed its winning streak to three games as it claimed a 15-8 win over Toccoa Falls College in the opening game of a three game set Friday afternoon.
The Screaming Eagles took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the second, but the Rams forged ahead in the bottom of the third and never trailed again. Carlos Torres was 4-for-5 at the plate, Lenyn Napoleon was 3-for-5 and Jordan Huntley smacked his second home run of the season and knocked in three runs. The Rams collected 15 hits to go with their 15 runs.
Seth Perkins picked up his second win of the season and got four strikeouts as he worked six innings on the mound.
The two teams battle in a doubleheader Saturday afternoon to conclude the series.
