Softball drops conference opener at Tennessee Wesleyan

ATHENS, Tenn. - One day after winning a doubleheader at Alice Lloyd College, softball opened AAC play at Tennessee Wesleyan and dropped a pair of games to the Bulldogs, 9-4 and 3-2.
In the opening game Meredith Throckmorton and Lexi Harmon were both 3-for-4 at the plate for the Rams and each picked up a double.
In game two Tennessee Wesleyan scored three times in the bottom of the seventh for the walk-off win. Laken Sparks had a pair of hits for the Rams while Harmon and Haley Davis each knocked in a run.
