BLUEFIELD - Bluefield College Rams welcomed Point University back to the Dome Gymnasium and claimed a 106-76 victory.
Jorge Concepcion III started off the game with a bucket for the Rams and Point quickly tied that game at two. The Rams then took the lead and never slowed down. Both the Rams and the Skyhawks exchanged two- and three-point shots that made the score 23-10, a 13-point lead for the Rams the largest of the game at that point. Donal Gooch, Ty'quon Reid, and Francisco Williams helped advance the Rams score by making free throws to 32-13, the biggest lead for the Rams of 19 points. The Rams opened up a 25-point lead with less than four minutes left in the half. At halftime, the Rams led 48-24.
The second half of the game started off by the Rams making a two-point shot and then Point University scoring a three-point shot. The Rams kept at least a 20 point lead the remainder of the game. The largest lead the Rams hadwas 44 points. With less than 10 minutes left in the game the Rams hit the 100-point mark. Jermiah Jenkins led in points for the Rams with 19. Ty'quon Reid was right behind with 18, Jorge Concepcion III finished with 15 points, and Niquan Cousins had a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds. Sae'Quahn Rogers led Point University with 25 points. Xavier Johnson had 17, B.J. Brown 13, and Jamon Moore 11.
