Box Score MADISONVILLE, Tenn. - Behind two home runs apiece from Jordan Jackson and Joshua Magee, the Bluefield College Rams romped past the Hiwassee College Tigers 16-6 Friday afternoon to claim the NCCAA Mid-East Regional championship and earn a spot in the NCCAA World Series, May 23-26 in Greenville, S.C.
The Rams defeated the Tigers twice over the past two days, avenging a doubleheader loss earlier in the season to the Tigers at Bowen Field.
Bluefield is now 27-21 on the season as it enters the NCCAA World Series.
The Rams won the NCCAA crown in 2010.
