Box Score 2 BLUEFIELD - Softball won it's fourth straight game with a doubleheader sweep of Alice Lloyd College, Tuesday afternoon at Graham Rec Park. The wins come one day after the Rams took a pair of AAC games on the road against Allen University.
GAME 1
Cameron Pearson pitched a three hitter, struck out nine batters and smacked a three-run home run to lead the Rams to a 9-0 victory in the opening game.
Kaitlyn Pennington had a pair of hits and drove in two runs and
Laken Sparks had two RBIs.
GAME 2
Sparks got the win in the circle as she struck out four Alice Lloyd hitters. Pennington again had two hits and knocked in two runs, while
Kena Denton connected for a two-run home run.
UP NEXT
The Rams (13-18) winners of five of their last six games, will take to the road to take on Alice Lloyd on Thursday.
