Jackson Keene pitched the Rams to victory in game one as Bluefield College took a pair of games from the St. Andrews Knights at a cold Bowen Field, Friday afternoon in Appalachian Athletic Conference baseball action.
GAME 1
Freshman lefty
Jackson Keene tossed a nine-inning complete game four hitter as the Rams took a 3-0 win in game one of the doubleheader. Keene struck out four and did not walk a batter. St. Andrews held Bluefield to four hits and two of those were by
Baley Castro, who also knocked in two runs.
GAME 2
Browning's two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth brought the winning run across the plate as Bluefield took an 8-7 win in the nightcap.
Jose Perez was 3-for-4 for BC, while
Jordan Ackerman and
Marcus Espinal were both 2-for-3. Castro added a pair of hits.
