Box Score 2 MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - Brewton-Parker College handed baseball its first loss of the season Friday in the opening game of a doubleheader at BPC. The Rams rebounded in the nightcap to gain a split.
Game 1 - Brewton Parker 9, Bluefield 1
Jordan Ackerman was 2-for-5 to lead the Rams at the plate and
Caleb Newman pitched five innings and suffered the loss for the Rams. Bluefield managed only five hits in the contest.
Game 2 - Bluefield 12, Brewton-Parker 6
Bluefield rebounded in the nightcap to gain a doubleheader split. The Rams scored three runs in both the first and second innings and exploded for six more in the sixth inning.

Joshua Magee and Ackerman each had two hits in the game. Magee had four RBIs and Ackerman had three, while
Oscar Torres knocked in a pair of runs. Perez and Ackerman each had a double.
